Hello! I’m sorry if this has already been asked, if so I must have over looked it… We are moving into our new house and just ordered a GC3 on amazon. The house already has some hard wired system components in it but no actual system and not enough to make up a traditional system so we liked the GC3. My questions are about the super switch. Can I have more than one on the system? We have some sensors that have wires going to a closet upstairs and some going to a different location downstairs. Can I add a super switch at both locations? Then that leads to can I use 2 wire smoke detectors with the super switch? There are about 4 or 5 and they look very new.
The last thing was about a secondary touchscreen. I understand that there is no secondary touch screen out for the GC3 unit right now but there should be one coming, correct? If so any idea when that’s gonna come? That’s the only thing I’m not so happy with the system right now since our garage door is no where near the front door and also much farther from the basement door than a 30 second delay. I’m definitely excited for the secondary displays because the GC3 looks very nice!
Also, just out of curiosity do you guys recommend using Honeywell wireless sensors including smoke and CO detectors instead of 2Gig? Are they more reliable or at least are they reliable in general? I bought a bunch of Honeywell wireless sensors before coming to the conclusion I would go with the GC3.
Yep, more than one TAKE-345 can be used. Each supports 8 zones.

Correct, one is planned however we do not have an ETA and would not want to provide an inaccurate date.

We do not recommend one over another. One of the nice benefits of 2GIG panels is the ability to use 5800 series Honeywell sensors as well as 2GIG sensors. Honeywell has a very wide assortment of sensors including dedicated outdoor wireless units that perform well.
Ok thank you! I read somewhere else that I am not able to use 2 wire smokes on the super switch. That does make sense since it’s data and power over the same two lines, I’ll just order some wireless ones!
The 2-way voice on the GC3 works with your guys’ monitoring correct?
