I purchased two recently, I tried pairing it before I installing, but upon pairing, GC3 is saying the device is Unknown? GC3 doesn’t support GD00Z-4 yet or is my GD00Z-4 kaput?
It is not officially supported yet on the GC3, no. This thread suggests remote application through Alarm.com may be able to function, but I would not recommend it until the panel manufacturer states official support.
Thanks for the information, I guess I will hold off until GC3 officially supports it. Hopefully in the next update.
Just a heads up: I installed a GC3 with 2 of the GD00Z-4s. They showed as unknown on the panel, but they worked just fine through ADC, it recognized them as Garage Door controllers and linked up with the tilt sensors as well. No issues that I’ve seen other than on the panel. YMMV
