GC-TBZ48 troubleshooting

I’ve had 3 thermostats in a Z-link network controlling only heaters (1 each). No problems for about 3 years but now one of the thermostat’s (GC-TBZ48) display is flashing on and off. Batteries have been replaced but it still says battery on the screen.
Any suggestions on what I should do?

Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.
Regards,
Ron

When replacing the batteries make sure to follow polarity and make sure the new batteries are fresh and not expired.

Remove the batteries and check that the batteries are fresh and following the correct polarity then wait about 2 minutes before re-inserting them (provided they are within their date printed date code). Waiting two minutes before adding the batteries should resolve the issue. Any change?

I’ll do this again when I get home this evening and get back to you with results.

Regards,

Ron
