GB00Z-1 Glass Break (Iris)

Hello everyone, I am a new user and just got my basic alarm system setup through Suretydiy and alarm.com with the GC2 panel. My question is, can the Lowes - Iris GB00Z-1 glass break sensor be used with the GC2 panel? I’ve searched for answers on this and can’t seem to find this one specifically.

No. Z-wave sensors in general are not compatible with the panel itself. This is true of all Alarm.com compatible alarm panels. They do not use Z-wave for alarm triggers. For a 2GIG Panel, you’ll need to use a 345 mhz glass break like the GB1-345 or Honeywell 5853.
