Currently using the GoControl GD-00Z-8-GC paired to a 2GIG Edge panel for garage door control. Yesterday while leaving, I used the alarm.com app to attempt to close the garage but it failed. In a rush, I closed the garage door using my key fob instead.
I’ve been away from home since then. Oddly, the app shows alert activity of ‘Garage Door: Unable to open’ every 20 mins for the past night. I’m not sure if it’s trying to issue a command or if it’s just glitched with a repeating alert. Is it possible to cancel a command if that is the case? I remotely rebooted the panel but that didn’t change anything.
I would attempt to issue an open command but I won’t be able to troubleshoot this until I’m back home tonight and don’t want to end up with a garage door stuck open while I’m away if it goes wrong. Right now, I know it’s closed as I can check through my security cameras.

There are no commands being sent at those times, I can confirm that this is a status being sent by the Edge panel to ADC, which is populating the event history. There is nothing to cancel in this case. I would have expected a reboot to likely stop these messages so that is odd.
Opening and closing the door should resolve, I would do that locally at the system from the wall control.
Just a brief update, I got home today and open and closed the garage door using the wall control but that did not resolve the issue. The status history still populated with the error every 20 mins.
I used the app to issue a remote open command and close a few minutes later. Then I rebooted panel again just for the sake of it. It appears that after all that, the problem is finally resolved. Still not sure what the root cause issue was though.

The panel reboot would be the next troubleshooting step if a change of status doesn’t resolve it, I’m glad to hear that the issue is resolved.

Ultimately the panel was the device in error, repeating that status. It may have been that the system was still processing the command when you actuated the door by keyfob resulting in an error handling it.
Could retry those conditions to see if it occurs again.
