Today I added a new flood sensor (dehumidifier flood) and PG smart plug (dehumidifier plug).

The new flood sensor shows up in the water sensor panel of the app, but it doesn’t appear in the list of flood sensors when I attempt to add to an automation routine.

I also noticed that it doesn’t appear in the available options to send a notification when activated.

my goal is to turn off the new smart plug when the flood sensor activates.

Try setting it to Group 25 Water Non-Reporting. This is used for local alerts and will not cause an alarm when triggered but it should allow you to integrate with the rule you are attempting to create.
