Float Switch and Water Sensor Programming with Central Station contact, no dispatch

Hello,
Is there a programming configuration that would allow me to achieve the following outcome?:

I have water sensors near possible problem sources such as my hot water tanks, well expansion tank, and washing machine. I also have a float switch above my sump pump that if failed, will be triggered as water rises above where it should be.

What I’d like is to have is my panel alarm, alerts on my phone, and a call from the Central Monitoring Station to tell me the alarm is happening/sensors have been triggered; BUT, I DO NOT want any police, fire, EMS, or other services dispatched.

Is this possible?

That is the normal process for environmental alarms such as flood or low temperature alarms. No dispatch would occur, operators would first call the site if a premise number is available then dial contacts.

That’s good to hear, but also tells me I have it programmed incorrectly then. I recently tested my sump sensor as it had gone off supervision.

I received a call from CS but they had also advised they dispatched police, which we stopped right away.

What should I have these sensors set too for response type?

Will any panel alarm also trigger a CS call?

I see, looking at your system it looks like those have been programmed as (07) 24 Hour Audible alarm. That is a burglary panic zone type.

For a flood sensor, you would want to edit the programming of each of those as follows:

Sensor Type: 08 – 24 Hour Auxiliary Alarm
Equipment Type: Flood

All alarms except for silent panic signals would result in cs contact, but not all end in dispatch.

FYI it looks like you may have a CO detector and a Fire detector programmed as a burglary panic as well, zone ids 30 and 32.

Those should be changed to:

CO: 14 - 24-hour Carbon Monoxide Alarm

Fire: 09 - 24 hour Fire

Thanks so much, I really appreciate your help.

Your whole team is top notch.

Happy to help!
