I am trying to eliminate the copper lines from Frontier and use the fiber modem from Xfinity to program my Networx panels. We have tried two different fiber lines from the same modem and have the same results. There appears to be a shake/communication issue. The software indicates the panel has picked up, but then the NX8 does not respond after that. When we use the copper line we have, all programming functions properly. Ideal would be to change all systems to cellular, but that is not an option at this time. Is there a better model modem or level of service that would help the software be compatible? Frontier fiber is not an option; every time our clients change to them, their communications fail immediately.
