Hello I currently have two ADC T2000 thermostats that I have been using with my Alarm.com system for the last 4 or so years. While different ecosystems, I have been expanding our smart home by adding smart devices that can live in both my Alarm.com account and my Apple Home account. As such, I would love to hear feedback on the Ecobee EBSTATEP601 on how it has worked for users in both environments.
The Ecobee thermostat integration is a back end integration, and you should be able to use it with both Alarm.com and whatever other compatible automation system desired.
There are limitations to Ecobee in Alarm.com compared to Z-wave thermostats.
Alarm.com and Ecobee integration does not support the following features:
Thermostat scheduling
Thermostat rule-based automation
Remote temperature control or averaging using Alarm.com temperature sensors
