Feature Request: Option to Pause Camera Notifications

Not sure if this is the best place for a feature request, but…
When iPhone notifies that there’s activity from camera “zones”, a nice pull down would be “pause for 1 hour” in the event it’s the landscaper.
This avoids you getting 20 notifications, and you don’t have to fully open the app

Yes +1 on this.
Oddly if you have an Apple Watch it does exactly this, but strangely not the phone app, unless I’m missing it.

It would also be great to pause notifications for all cameras in one fell swoop rather than doing each individually.

Happy to forward this request to Alarm.com

Update: I was missing it! If you swipe left on the notification and choose “options” the option to pause for 1 hour, etc is in that menu!

I don’t know what/where you mean…

Hi. Here are screenshots of what I was talking about. But now that I’ve been using this a few days I think that it is really pausing the alarm.com app notifications on my phone only. I don’t think it is really pausing the actual notifications for that one specific camera at the alarm.com level. In other words - all of alarm.com app stuff stops on my phone for an hour, but my wife still gets the alerts on her phone.

Swipe left on notification on lock screen
Choose “options”
Choose “Mute for 1 hour”

Yes that’s how I interpret your screenshots - not exactly what I raised initially. Thanks for the followup

Understood. I only meant it as a quasi workaround in the meantime not a solution.

The apple watch, however actually DOES pause them in alarm.com. That actually works well. But it needs to be in more places than the watch.

In that case, it is per camera/rule, so if the landscapers trip three cameras, the delay has to be clicked on the watch three times (once on each camera’s notification on the watch). I do the same every week when my landscapers arrive, so I feel the pain.

On iOS, if you hold/long-press on the notification it gives you multiple pause options.

Omg! Brilliant!
Who would have thought to long press a notification? Learn something every day! Thank you!
