Alarm.com is expanding Familiar Vehicle Analytics to the ADC-V731B. With Familiar Vehicle Analytics, users can identify specific vehicles as familiar and receive customized alerts when known vehicles are detected. Simply create a Vehicle Detection recording rule, then identify your vehicles to train the system and start receiving alerts. If vehicle profiles have already been set up on other cameras, enabling Familiar Vehicle Analytics on the ADC-V731B automatically applies those existing profiles, with no additional setup required. Users can customize alerts for known vehicles and respond in real time using two-way audio or manually triggered warning sounds. Mobile app > Video > Settings icon> Familiar Vehicles
Looks like the feature is finally enabled on my V731B! The camera is now enabled and ready to support the functionality. From what I can tell, the system needs to recognize my vehicle at least five times before the feature becomes fully active and begins working as intended.
Glad to see they were finally able to get this rolled out. I’ve been waiting for this functionality, so I’m looking forward to seeing how well it works once the recognition and learning process is complete.
