Fall detector pendants randomly going off

Hello,
My grandparents property has a IQ2+ panel with 2 2GIG-F1-345 sensors that are randomly setting off.

They are claiming to not be doing anything when they go off. Can you see anything on your end or should we replace the sensors with a non fall detection model?

The programming might be incorrect. If you can check by swiping down on the panel from the top of the screen, pressing settings, advanced settings, entering your installer code, installation, Devices, Security Sensors, Edit Sensors

You will be able to see your devices here. Press the pencil next to the first pendant and change sensor type to Auxiliary Pendant then press save. Do the same for the second pendant. Then exit by pressing the home button on the bottom or by pressing the arrow back until you’re on the Home Screen.

I believe this is how it is setup. I initially had issues with the pendants recording a panic signal, but changed it to that to correct it

Looking at your panel programming as reported to Alarm.com, those devices are reporting that they are programmed as a keyfob, not an auxiliary pendant.

On your panel go to Settings > Advanced Settings > installer code > Installation > Devices > Security Sensors. Edit those sensors, verify the sensor zone type selected. It looks like it is currently Keyfob.

Change that to Auxiliary Pendant, with Loop 1. It looks like those should be Sensor Group 6 for Mobile Auxiliary type or Sensor Group 7 for Silent Mobile Auxiliary, depending on whether you want a local siren.

Does the behavior resolve?

Are you able to make that change for me by chance? We would prefer group 7. I would however this is my grandparents property and I cannot make it out there for a bit

Our support team is happy to assist you with this at support@suretyhome.com

I have gone ahead and performed the changes for you

Thank you. We will test again and let you know
