I have a 2Gig panel. Over the weekend all 5 exterior door sensors are in malfunction. I have not replaced the batteries yet because I found that strange all of them would be in malfunction at the same time and I never got a low battery alert either. Any ideas?
It looks like your panel is not reporting an expected equipment code for your zones. Can you confirm whether those are e-series encrypted 2GIG sensors or regular 345Mhz 2GIG sensors?
Would you mind posting a photo of the equipment code used for those zones in your panel sensor programming?
The equipment code field must match the type of sensor being used, e-series vs regular.
If you power cycle your panel, then try opening and closing the sensors, does the panel see the activity?
I am not sure if they’re e-series or 345Mhz? I power cycled the panel and pulled the battery. The alarms have cleared but the sensors are not reporting back to the panel when I open the doors.
We also have an Alulu RE524X wireless transistor which I have no idea what that does. It came in the house when we moved in. I swore there were lights on the front and now there at only. I could be mistaken though.
It appears the Alula is the problem.
Yes, the Alula device is the issue. Those sensors are 433Mhz sensors, the Alula device is a translator to listen for those sensors and transmit those signals into 345Mhz.
Does the receptacle there by the translator have power? Check the main electrical panel to see if any breakers are thrown.
