Ecolink Tilt Sensor

Had luck paring Ecolink Zwave Tilt2 with iQ panel, but received message that it is not a recognized sensor…anyone find a work around or have suggestion on one?

Zwave sensor type devices will typically not be compatible with any alarm panel. For security sensor purposes, tilt sensors are available in GE frequency.

The Ecolink WST401 is listed as compatible (it is the GE version of the Tilt sensor you named, I believe Ecolink makes them in all manner of frequency), as well as the GE Designline Garage Sensor.

Been lucky so far…Zwave locks all work and accessible via alarm app since software update.

Thanks for tbe info on the GE devices…the site is great as well☺

Zwave locks all work and accessible via alarm app since software update.

Locks, lights, thermostats are all supported types. Anything that is a sensor specifically: Z-wave door sensor, Z-wave motion sensor, Z-wave tilt sensor - no Z-wave sensors will typically be supported. Their device command classes won’t be enabled for use in the panel, and the panel software does not generate alarms based on Z-wave activity.
