Hi! I have a DW10 sensor that keeps draining the battery in about 2 days. The door the sensor is on remains closed all the time, and each time I replaced the battery (twice in february already) I checked with a multimeter to make sure the new batteries were reading the right voltage. Is the sensor faulty? or could there be another reason that could cause the batteries to be depleted so quickly?
There is no reason a DW10 should be going through batteries like that. Batteries should last 3-5 years.
If that has happened on multiple sets of new batteries (and you replaced both batteries at the same time, not just one) then I would just replace the sensor.
