Duress Words Question

Hey there,

when updating my account tonight I noticed it seemed that you could add multiple duress words. Just wanted to make sure, if I use any of these words with a conversation with the CS operator, they will end the call normally and immediately dispatch correct? Just curious if they see the list of these when they call to verify the alarm or if they have to type it in because if so I might have to change one as it could be difficult to spell. Hope that makes sense and sorry if this has been asked before

Yes, you can add multiple duress words, and each would be treated the same. Operators would accept the code and end the call normally, then dispatch.

Generally though, while you can add multiple, I would recommend sticking to one, as more than one runs a higher risk of misremembering and someone accidentally using one.

Operators can see your list of codes and may ask for you to repeat it if they couldn’t hear/confirm what you said.
