I just received a DSC Touch - purchased through one of the only 2 seemingly reputable online stores I could find.

It appears either the docs I have for the default dealer code are outdated, or they were changed prior to the shipping.

While I wait for the company I purchased the panel from to respond do I have any other options to get things going this evening?

Thank you for posting! It would make sense the DSC Touch default settings should follow those of the Qolsys IQ panel, as it is a version of the IQ which uses a DSC sensor radio, but the 1.4.3 manual at least does indicate the default installer code should be 5555. Seems strange to change this from one firmware to the next but it is possible.

What firmware version does your panel show?

The “quick start” guide that came with the DSC Touch even started 5555.

I’m away from the system, I’ll get you the firmware version in a bit.

Where do I find the FW version?

Go to Settings -> About to find the section labelled Software Version.

In 1.5.3 Qolsys states the default installer code is 1-1-1-1, for future reference.
