We use the Guardline driveway sensor to give us notifications of anyone coming up our 300ish foot driveway. Interestingly, the Geuardline device supports NO and NC sensors.

Yes, a sensor with a wired input can be used as a transmitter for any NC contact output.
You would select sensor Group 25 when programming to have a zone that never alarms but can be monitored for activity in ADC.
