I replaced batteries and still get yellow light?

Did you wait a few minutes before placing the new batteries in the detector?

When replacing the batteries, we recommend removing the old batteries for at least 2-3 minutes before installing the new ones to ensure the low battery clears properly.

Yes, still have problem. I also vacuumed detector.

About how many seconds does it take for the LED to flash yellow?

There should be a replace by sticker on the smoke. What date does it say the smoke needs to be replaced by?
