If your plan is to use Alarm.com (we’re an Alarm.com provider), I recommend using Qolsys brand equipment instead of the DSC NEO. The NEO is a great security panel but doesn’t provide the full Alarm.com experience like Qolsys does. DSC and Qolsys are owned by the same company, Johnson Controls, but Alarm.com works better with Qolsys.
The 2 options for wired sensors are
- The IQ Pro, which actually has a DSC NEO built into it but also Qolsys features.
- The IQ Panel 4 or IQ4 Hub combined with an IQ Hardwire PowerG.
The IQ Pro would keep your wired sensors fully wired. The IQ Hardwire PowerG would convert your wired sensors to wireless so they can be used by the wireless panels.
