My panel is at one end of the house and when the doorbell is rung, I cannot here is throughout the house.
I have a remote panel at the other end of the house, but I don’t think I can make it announce the door.
thoughts on how to add more sound?
I thought to activate something on a plug, but I am not sure what. Turning on a light does not really announce well.
Is there a remote speaker to add?
To start off which panel do you have?
Have you ensured that the main panel is turned up all the way?
It is possible that you have chime and local announcements turned off on your secondary panel. You’ll want to check to see if they are muted.

But your turned all the way up question got me to think this through. Sorry for the incomplete post.
Yes, I have the TS1 by the bedrooms turned down. I dont want it announcing every arm and disarm while people are sleeping.
I do have the GC3 turned down quite a bit. I don’t like the announcements too loud.
Back up to an assumption. I assume that the doorbell sounds cannot be separate volume than the announcements.
So is there a way to have the doorbell louder and the rest of the announcements not so loud?

GC2, you mean? GC3 is not compatible with the TS1.

There is not on the GC2. On the GC3 actually there is, Doorbells are a separate volume category.
The best and really only way to add the same additional chimes is a TS1.
Keep in mind the 2GIG Doorbell can activate the standard wired doorbell in the home using the existing wires. There are two machine screw terminals at the base of the doorbell board.
Sorry, typo GC2
The doorbell in the house is gone, but there are wires that go somewhere. I’ll find them hook up a standard bell.
Forgot that is had those connections on the button.
Simple answer to a long explanation.
Thanks

I did too when I hooked mine up originally. Wasn’t too long ago I had to solve the same issue. Using Chime + Voice on the panel, the standard bell and panel chimes at the same time and then the vocal descriptor is announced. Nice if you have multiple doorbells.
