I recently obtained a 2gig doorbell for my system. In programming the doorbell into the system. However, the panel would not accept the code for the doorbell. Thus, I used the 0000 code for other and entered the correct code in the next field. After programming, I ran a walk test, and the doorbell registered triggered when pushed. However, despite being set to voice and ding dong no. 1, there is neither voice nor chime when the doorbell is pushed. Any suggestions appreciated.
If it doesn’t recognize it, then that may mean you need to update firmware
