Door Sensor is yellow

My front door sensor is showing yellow on my keypad. I have changed the batteries and still shows yellow. Batteries are good. The door contact and sensor are correctly mounted. Everything was fine until the batteries were changed. Is it a bad sensor or something else?

Looks like the front door sensor is reporting a tamper condition. Tamper means that the sensor cover is not secured and the tamper switch inside is not closed.

The Sensor Tamper trouble condition indicates a sensor on the system is reporting a tamper condition. Tamper reports are issued by the system for a device whose tamper switch is released.
