I have door that is opening up with the wind and setting off the alarm. I logged into the alarm.com website, went to the sensor list and unchecked the “monitoring” button. Today, it happened again and help was dispatched when the homeowners were away.
Is this not something that I can bypass on my end?
Also, I wanted to add another contact person on the list but I don’t see how to do that in the website either.

To clarify, that monitoring checkbox you are referencing in Alarm.com is only for sensor activity monitoring, it does not impact alarm reports.
A Bypass is a temporary state in which the panel ignores activation of the bypassed sensor for one arming period. If you need to bypass a sensor, that is done when arming the system.
This can be done when arming at the panel, or remotely through the app for most systems. For example on the IQ Panel 4 4.1.0+ firmware you can remotely bypass selected sensors in the app.
Tap the security card arrow, then tap Bypass Sensors and select the sensor you need to bypass. Tap the check to confirm before arming.
If you would prefer to instead never have that door generate alarms at this time, you could change the Sensor Group for that zone on the panel to 25, which is used for notifications and chimes only.

You can view and add new contacts for your monitoring account in our system manager here under the Professional Monitoring tab.
I already know about bypassing the sensor through the panel. What I’m looking for is how to bypass the sensor remotely, as I’m not at the location where the panel is, indefinitely until the door is fixed.

We can help set that remotely if you are not on site. Send us a private message and include the name of the door sensor on your panel, and request that we set that door as sensor group 25.
With that sensor group setting, you can still be notified in Alarm.com when it opens, but it would never cause an alarm event or result in dispatch.
