How do I make this work? Because of the trim on the door frame, the sensor doesn’t align with the magnet and the panel thinks the door is always open.
You may need to swap the sensor and magnet locations and/or use a spacer to lift the part on the door a bit to bring it more onto the same plane, but that is not the main issue it appears.
Is that a PG9303? There is a ridge on the side of the PG9303 where the magnet must line up. IIRC it is on the other side of the sensor, on the side with the label.
Please double check that sensor orientation.
It is a PG9303. I installed it with the release tab at the bottom as in the pictures in the installation guide, but I’ll try turning it around. I’m really trying to avoid drilling into the door frame and door to install a recessed one if I can help it.
