Can a 2gig doorbell be used as a panic button on an IQ 4 to send a silent alarm?
I wanna say yes as u could program the group different but I don’t wanna say 100% I know I have used the doorbells for z wave control to turn on a light
So, just for clarity of other readers, definitely do not program one this way if it is installed as a doorbell, but if you are no longer using it as a doorbell button and just want to use it inside as a panic, yeah you should be able to do that. You can change the sensor type to an aux pendant and then select the appropriate sensor group for audible or silent intrusion.
Settings > Advanced Settings > Installer Code > Installation > Devices > Security Sensors > Edit Sensor.
