Does the Qolsys announce what sensor was tripped?

I know the 2gig verbally announces what sensor was tripped, like “Front door is open” etc. Does the Qolsys do this as well?

Yes, it does. 2GIG calls it a voice chime. Qolsys calls it a voice prompt.

In fact, with the Android OS, the Qolsys uses text-to-speech, allowing you to name each sensor whatever you would like and the panel will voice it. 2Gig uses a limited bank of words.
