I have the Schlage Connect locks. They have a built-in audible tamper alarm, as you know – someone kicking the door in or banging it excessively hard can trigger this alarm. My question is, does the lock transmit this to my 2gig panel and to central monitoring? Do I have to add a separate door sensor like the DW10 to the door frame? Thank you.
No, the audible alarm portion of the lock is not a monitored function or compatible sensor device with the panel. You’ll need a compatible 345mhz door sensor like the DW10 for alarm monitoring purposes.
