Disable system check for smart devices?

I have always had the Zwave Radio on my IQ Panel 4 manually disabled since I maintain my own seperate Zwave home automation system and don’t want to create any interference between two hubs. I’m not sure what specific firmware update caused this, but I recently updated my panel to 4.5.1 and I now constantly have an error on my “system check” under “smart devices” because IQ Panel flags the disabled wave radio as problematic. It’s just annoying because I use the panel’s photo frame and it always displays a notification in the corner of the photo indicating system trouble, when it’s really just telling me that the zwave radio is disabled. Is there any way to exclude certain subsystems from the system check, or otherwise tailor the notifications? Thanks

Looking at your system, it looks like Z-wave and System Health Check are enabled. I am not sure if there is a way to leave the check on and not have Z-wave alerts, but it actually looks like Z-wave is enabled when I get your systems latest settings.

If you go to Settings > Advanced Settings > installer code > Installation > Devices > Z-wave Devices > Z-wave Settings, then Scroll down to Z-wave. Is that enabled or disabled on your panel? It is possible this was re-enabled through a firmware version update, but that is just a guess.

There is a separate setting which disables in for the Setup Wizard I believe under Setup Wizard > Wizard Settings.

If you would like, we can send commands to disable the health check and Z-wave, then you can verify whether that issue goes away. I would recommend just trying to disable Z-wave first, but if that was re-enabled recently as a troubleshooting step and the issue definitively occurs with it disabled, we can try to disable that system check if you prefer.

Hi Jason, I actually enabled the zwave radio myself this morning to test whether there would actually be interference if I just don’t add any devices to the IQ panel and there is no zwave traffic. If that’s the case, I may just leave it enabled and there would be no need to disable any of the system checks. I’ll reach back out to update after a few days, although it’s good to know that you can apparently disable that specific system check if necessary. Thanks

Ok that sounds good. The system health check is an on/off option and I believe that impacts what you were seeing. It is for everything related to that health check though. I cannot just switch off the Z-wave portion of it.
