Disable PowerG hardwire takeover module tamper?

Is there a way to disable the tamper switch on the PG9WLSHW8 without closing the lid? It’s going to be a while until I clean up my wiring and can close the box, and I’d rather the panel not showing the module at fault. I tried taping a conductor onto the tamper switch on the PCB but it wasn’t’ strong enough to hold it. Wondering if there is a software configuration based approach.

Tamper cannot be disabled in that way in settings unfortunately, the cover would need to be closed. It is generally expected to not be left off.
