The beeps when arming really upset my dogs. I know I can manually turn off the beeps but that has to be done every single time. Has anyone come up with a solution for this yet? I can’t believe there’s no way to turn these off for good (other than unplugging the speaker).
Thanks for any help.
EDIT: Some background on what I’m trying to accomplish. There’s a panel in the basement and main level. Security people have to come in the basement during the night. They want to be able to disarm when they come in and arm when they leave. Right now when they arm, we get the loud beeps upstairs. If we did arm/stay with no delay, then I don’ t think they can get out of the house, right? Am I missing a better way to do this?
Thanks.
There are a few ways to avoid the exit delay countdown.
First, you can select Silent Arming when arming the system at the panel. It does require selecting it every time at the panel.
Alternatively you can add Silent Arming as an option to an arming event in a specific scene, then run that scene to arm the system. It could be run from a mobile device or you can use scenes on the panel.
If scenes are not enabled on the panel you could arm from a keyfob. Settings > Advanced Settings > Installer Code > Installation > Security and Arming > Keyfob Instant Arming
Or you can arm remotely via the app.
Nighttime mode settings will not affect exit delay to my knowledge, I’m happy to pass feedback along to Qolsys for review!

Ah! Scenes! That might be the ticket! Thank you!
The next question is : when they enter the house (after arm stay) can the countdown be silent too so it doesn’t wake anyone?
