Different sound settings for IQ Remote PowerG

I just purchased an IQ remote power g. It is paired with my main iq4 panel. Currently the main panel is set to chime whenever any of the door/window/lock sensors open, which is what I want.

However, I do not want the IQ remote panel to chime for all of the same activities since it is in a bedroom and would be disruptive. Is there a way to change which events will chime on the IQ remote panel?

My best current idea is putting the IQ remote panel in night mode 24/7. If I did that, would alarms still sound on the IQ remote panel? (E.g. if a door/window were opened while the alarm was armed or if a smoke detector went off?)

Yes, if you use Night Mode alarms will still occur, and you could set the display to turn off and chimes to not occur during night mode. If you do not want those chimes ever, you can extend night mode to cover all times. If they are useful at certain times you can adjust night mode to only cover the times when you do not want to be disturbed.
