Difference between DSC PG4984P & DSC PG9984P

Hi!

Looking to build out my first system for a new home. I’m going to use a Qolsys IQ 4 Panel and looking at DCS PG9984P motion sensors for front and back doors areas.

Most of DSC product lines have 2-3 product numbers for a given product.

Example:

PGx984P
(PG9984P; PG4984P; PG8984P)

Typically it seems there’s a 4, 8, and 9.

I’m not really sure what the differences are between these version or how to find out. It seems possible the 9x are UL listed and the others aren’t?

Any info is appreciated!

Three different bands for three different regions. USA, Europe, and I think Israel has their own band.

Would that mean using a Qolsys IQ 4 Panel in the USA and trying to mix in a European version of a PowerG product for example wouldn’t work?

That is correct. I’ve accidentally bought the wrong ones off of Ebay before, so definitely want to confirm.
