Device State Unknown - Glass Break and Water

I just installed my Qolsys IQ-4 Panel today. All the door/window sensors are working great.

When I look at my devices (on ADC), it lists my Water leak sensor and my Glass Break sensor (both made by Qolsys) as “Device State Unknown”.

Does this mean they aren’t communicating? Or that they are “shut off” until they tripped?

Should I test my water detector? (e.g. maybe have it touch a small bowl of water as a test).

That means those devices have not signaled to the panel yet for supervision or a test signal. This will naturally resolve itself once supervision occurs, but you can test the devices to send a signal. I would recommend testing all sensors after installation.

Yes, as of this morning, it looks like all sensors are reporting their state correctly.
