How do I create an automation rule that shuts my garage doors after a delay after I arm away? This is in case you forget to close your garage doors. I have 3. You don’t want it immediately because i arm away and open the garage doors with a manual wall switch after i arm.
I believe this cannot be done through alarm.com. There are some garage door openers with a Timer-to-Close feature but there is not an option on alarm.com for this.
I will confirm this with alarm.com and put in another request if it is still not a feature since other people have asked for this

Thank you. This seems like a logical feature that should be available.
I agree. To add to this, if the “left open” trigger could be extended to allow rules beyond thermostat adjustments - to include things like closing the garage door, triggering a z-wave device, PGM, or locking a lock, etc. that would be great as well.
Plus the ability to only filter “left open” events based on system state (armed/disarmed) would be awesome also.
I have put in the request with alarm.com for this. Hopefully they add it in the near future.
