I’m trying to create a custom sensor name in the IQ Panel. For example, I have multiple front windows and would like to name them Front Window 1, 2, etc. but it doesn’t appear that is possible. I have to pick from a predetermined list and the name has to be unique. This makes no sense since there are only 20 names to choose from. That means there is a limit of 20 sensors that I can add. I’m hoping there might be a way around this.
While editing that sensor on the panel, when you tap the sensor name the first option should be “Custom Description”
Tap custom description and you can type in any name.
