I have an alert on my app “Malfunction (Front Door)”. It is only on the app as well. The panel does not show up as an active alert. When I launch the troubleshooting wizard, it runs for 5 minutes and goes back to the home screen. Everything’ seems to work properly though, as the IQ Panel shows when the door is open, and I get a notification on my phone if it is left open.
That alert is referencing a Z-wave lock which is linked to your system. It looks like you have a plan which does not support automation device control. While it is not controllable on the Protect plan, if a Z-wave device is connected to the panel the system will still send ADC the device info, and that lock is having trouble connecting to the panel.
If you do not plan on using the lock for automation you could remove it from the panel. If you do use it locally from the panel I would replace the batteries first, then if you continue to see this issue you may need a repeater, as Z-wave lock effective range is usually very short.
