I have asked this question in the past, but have not been active in the forum as of late.
Is there a chance that Alarm.com might add some basic conditional rules such as “if dark” when turning on a Z wave light via a sensor?
I am really trying to keep this simple as I know if I add a proper controller that I will have no restraint on further automation as I have done so in the past, and really just want to keep it simple.

“After Sunset” has been recently added as a variable for light rules.
This can be selected as a time frame when the rule would be active. The rule would then be active sunset to sunrise.
