Communication issue

I have updated my communicator to the 4G LTE communicator. I installed the new communicator as per the instructions provided. My alarm.com account is reading “Radio not responding”. Any suggestions?

Hi James. I just had this same issue. You need to install the IME number of the module. There can only be one IME active at a time on your account. You can do this through the system manager, or send the IME number privately to support and they’ll update it for you. (Although that’s normally only during business hours Monday through Friday.) The IME number is on the module, and on the box it came in.

Also, if the module is installed the IME number will be displayed when you do a cell test. And, after the new IME is active, you’ll need to run a cell test to register it on the network.

Yep, the above poster is correct. The best and quickest way to do this (which can be done at any time 24/7) is to visit the System Manager and select Swap Cellular Module/Panel.

Follow the steps there to update the IMEI connected to your account.
