Change "partition1" to something else?

I see all these references to “partition1” in the app and website. It bothers me. lol. I want to call it something else.

I can’t find anywhere where I can change it to something else. Looked all over the alarm.com website, all over the app. Can’t find a way to do it. Is there a way to change it?

I have Qolsys 2 panel…

Happy to help! You can change partition names through the Alarm.com Website. To do so:

  1. Log into the ADC Website.
  2. In the Panel card, click the Arrow Icon
  3. Click Settings Gear
  4. In the Device Name field, enter the new name for the panel partition.
  5. Close the System Settings window to save the change.

Partition names can be changed at the specifically at the IQ Panel 2 by clicking on Settings > Adv Settings > Partitions > Edit on Each Partition and change the name then save.
