It is beeping as if the battery needs changed but after i changed battery it is still beeping, it does have a now expired date on the device , could that be why its beeping because they have a fixed life?
Carbons and Smoke detectors do have a best by date and should be replaced. It should flash yellow every 23 seconds to indicate End of Life. Carbons have a 5 year lifespan
