It’s a huge issue to me. 
While looking into this I noticed that the Ecolink GDZW7-ECO supports LiftMaster Security+ 2.0 wireless control out of the box so you wouldn’t need the Garadget dry contact adapter.
It’s Z-Wave Long Range (LR) which should make communication with the control panel a lot more reliable than the Linear garage door controllers.
This seems like the best solution and it’s fairly low cost. You could put your opener on MyQ and use the MyQ app while also controlling in from Alarm.com (including CarPlay) through the Z-Wave controller.
