I moved my Alarm.com account from another provider to Surety. The previous provider confirmed that they removed MyQ from the system however I am still receiving error message: Registration was unsuccessful for this device. It may be registered to a myQ account. Please remove the device from myQ or factory reset the device, then reconnect to an internet network and try registering again. Serial Number - I also reset the garage door opener. Where do I go from here?
Did you connect the device to a MyQ account to set up wifi? It would need to be deleted from the MyQ account before it can be registered through ADC.
It may also mean that gateway needs to be factory reset. Have you tried a factory reset?
Problem solved. I incorrectly performed a factory reset. The yellow button must be pressed 3 times. When I realized this I was able to connect the MYQ. Thank you.
