Cannot activate my equipment

Transitioning from another company that used alarm.com and went out of business. The IMEI number says it’s still associated with another company despite alarm.com telling me otherwise. Anything I can do start new service?

The check tool on our website is checking direct with the Alarm.com database. I am happy to help verify with the IMEI.

If your service provider went out of business and is no longer responsive, it would not be unusual for the account to be in limbo. Typically Alarm.com does not directly handle account cancellations, and would more likely transfer the existing account, based on my own experience with them.
