Can I disable Fire and CO sirens on IQ/PowerG?

Can the sirens for fire and CO be disabled on the PowerG Remote panels? Turning off “all sirens” setting seems to just be only security sirens leaving the fire and CO sirens enabled anyway. I have an IQ Pro panel.

Instead I have real fire alarm NAC appliances that give code 3 and code 4 alarms with sync strobes and 520Hz low frequency sounders. As such I neither want nor need the un-synchronized, piercing alarm that the internal siren generates. And technically mixing different signalling like that could be a fire code violation because they’re not one “distinct evacuation signal”. I only want to hear the 520Hz sounders.

Since the IQ Pro panel doesn’t have an internal siren I can make a security-only siren with programmable outputs. But the touchscreen PowerG Remote, while nice have, includes sirens that can’t seem to be disabled.

I spoke to Qolsys about this and they also tried testing a few different options but currently there is no way to program the PowerG remote keypads to be silent during a Fire/CO alarm.

Thanks for checking. If they are taking requests, I would like to be able to disable all Fire/CO sirens to use only external options.

The main bell terminals on the IQ Pro have the same issue, but I can work around that by using the HSM2204 for a supervised security-only trigger output and leave a resistor across the bell terminals unused.
