Does IQ Panel 5 require signing up for Surety Complete? I just want Surety Protect (a bit cheaper) but when I have IQ Panel 5 in my basket, it seems to only offer Surety Complete. I am just trying to price out a system on the website, and it is not cooperating.
Also, are the IQ devices (motion detectors, etc) compatible with PowerG – such as the IQ Panel 5? The website cautions me that the IQ items in my basket are not compatible with the PowerG panel. Bit there is no explanation. This is very confusing.
No, the IQ Panel 5 does not require Surety Complete. Purchases of an IQ Panel 5 come with a complimentary month of service, which is created with the Surety Complete plan. After activation, you can switch to a different plan using the System Manager section of your Surety account.
The IQ sensors are 319.5 MHz sensors, not PowerG. Unlike the IQ Panel 4, the IQ Panel 5 does not come with a legacy sensor radio card. In order to use them with the IQ Panel 5, you will need the 319.5 MHz Legacy Radio Card, which you can get below. Alternatively, you can find PowerG sensors here.
