I have a 2 Gig PIR Motion reporting to my IQ4 panel. I changed the battery 24 hours ago. I can not clear the low battery alert and it beeps every few minutes on the remote panel.
HOw do I clear this alert?
Remove the batteries from the detector, leave it powered off for 2 minutes, reinsert the battery. Does this clear it?
Many sensors require some time to let residual charge dissipate and if the battery is replaced quickly the low battery status will not resolve.
