Can the ADC V622 180 degree camera be used outside? If not, is there any other ADC compatible camera that has a 180 degree field of vision? Any reviews or feedback on the quality of the V622?
I would not recommend that the 622 be used outside as it is not rated for outdoor use nor does it offer any weather protection.
Its a well built indoor camera with a great angle of view. It offers digital pan/tilt/zoom and has a button that you can press to call out to connected phones.
The V622 is currently the only 180 degree camera from Alarm.com. The closest Alarm.com outdoor camera would be the VC 826 and 836 with 108 degree angle of view.
Can the VC836 be mounted on a vertical outside wall? The picture makes it look like it is meant to be mounted under an eve (hanging down from a horizontal surface). If I mount it on a vertical wall, will the video picture be rotated 90 degrees or will it look normal? Also, does the V836 use only power-over-ethernet for power or does it also have the option for an AC to DC converter for power? finally, is there anywhere I can see the full documentation for this camera? I’ve searched online and haven’t found anything.

The VC836 is an indoor/outdoor turret style camera which can be fully rotated within the metal housing. It can be wall or ceiling mounted.
You can use 12VDC transformer or POE for power. See specs below:
