I’m thinking about upgrading my manual irrigation controller with the Rachio 3 one. Aside from being able to remote control/smart schedule my irrigation, I also want to integrate it with ADC. Can ADC automatically turn on the sprinklers if it detects motion? This would be a big plus for me because my new neighbor lets their dog roam around our yard freely to do its business.

ADC does not currently support weaponizing irrigation via motion detection rules.
In general, sensor activity can be used to trigger lights and thermostats. Irrigation features are listed below:
Configuration of schedules still occurs within the Rachio app. Then you can trigger zones/schedules within ADC

I could set a schedule but the neighbor’s dog schedule is inconsistent.
