What are the differnces between the ADC-V520IR and HD100?
A a diifernt note how can the ADC-V620PT not have night vision. Very disapointing.
HD100:
- Made by 2GIG
- PIR motion detection (better at preventing false events in most cases)
- Costs less
- Looks/feels a little more like a consumer product
ADC-V520IR:
- Made by Alarm.com
- Video motion detection (more difficult to prevent false events but can be more acute and flexible)
- Costs more
- Looks feels a little more industrial
They’re both good cameras and work well. I use the HD100 more because of the lower cost and the PIR.
